Congratulations Marcelo Pelleriti for a 100 pt Parker Rating!

Algodon’s own Senior Wine Consultant and winemaker, Marcelo Pelleriti, just received 100 points from the world's leading wine critic, Robert Parker!  Marcelo was honored with Parker's TOP score for his wine Chateau La Violette 2010, a Merlot made in Pomerol.  This score is unprecedented for an Argentinean winemaker, and epitomizes the importance of what it means to have Marcelo on our team.

Receiving a perfect score from Robert Parker, the most influential wine critic on the planet, is rare enough that it can significantly sway the market; winning an elusive score of 100 can quadruple the price of a bottle.

Our vision from the beginning was to create the highest quality, internationally recognized wines, and to be associated with winemakers of world-class caliber.  Our thought has always been that if we could produce great wines, it might have a positive overall effect on the value of our Argentina vineyard real estate for sale in Mendoza, our brand, and everything Algodon.
